Former USMC who loses his son and believes that Benjamin and his family had something to do with it. The people in the neighborhood think he is crazy from his time in the Middle East. He had his son young at only 16 he began working for the Martinez family but would end up joining the Marines as soon as he turned 18 and was sent to fight in Afghanistan. He spent the last years training recruits but would be eventually honorably discharged and sent home when he moved his family back to LA for family support his wife would get hooked on drugs and eventually overdose leaving David to raise his son alone. David would struggle with alcohol and keeping a job which added to the neighborhood gossip and caused many of his family to cut him off.
