Jacob “Big Jake” Sullivan, who is also known as “Sully,” is a former special forces soldier in the US Military who retired from the Military to join a special division of CIA intelligence. After a mission in the Middle East, he gets word that his dad, whom he hasn’t seen or spoken to in years, has died and that he needs to return to the hometown he left nearly 20 years ago to handle some of his dad’s things. When he goes back to his hometown, he sees it’s not the town he remembers and that many of the people there are struggling. He also sees he isn’t as welcome as he had hoped, as many are still pissed over how he left. Jacob does his best to stay away from those in town who give him the cold shoulder while taking care of his father’s estate when the town is turned upside down by the work that Jacob does that has followed him there. Now, Jacob must make the decision to fight or leave again.
