Never Enough Productions seeks a talented Special Effects Technician to join our team for multiple exciting projects in Atlanta, GA, and Los Angeles, CA. As a Special Effects Technician, you will work under the direction of the special effects coordinator to create captivating visual elements that enhance storytelling. Your work will include crafting weather effects, managing props that break, shatter, collapse, burn, smoke, or explode, and building the mechanical rigging necessary for flying actors.
Key Responsibilities:
– Assist in designing and implementing practical effects for film and television.
– Collaborate with the special effects team to create and execute visual effects scenes.
– Operate and maintain special effects equipment and rigs.
– Ensure safety standards are met while working on set.
– Troubleshoot and problem-solve during production to resolve any special effects challenges.
Qualifications:
– Previous experience as a special effects technician or in a related field is preferred.
– A strong understanding of special effects techniques and equipment.
– Ability to work under tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
– Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
– A creative approach to problem-solving and a passion for film production.
