Job Description:
Never Enough Productions seeks skilled and creative Set Decorators / Dressers to join our dynamic team for upcoming film projects at our Atlanta, GA, Film Studios. As a Set Decorator / Dresser, you will play a crucial role in shaping the visual aesthetics of our productions by deciding on the furnishings and decorative elements used on set.
Key Responsibilities:
– Collaborate closely with the Art Director and Production Designer to develop and implement the visual concept for sets.
-Select, source, and arrange furnishings, artwork, fabrics, and other decorative elements to enhance the films’ storytelling and visual appeal.
– Ensure all set decorations align with the overall design vision and maintain continuity throughout the production.
– Manage the set decorations and props inventory, ensuring items are in good condition and ready for use.
– Participate in set design meetings, bringing your expertise and creative input to discussions.
– Assist in installing and removing set decorations as needed, ensuring a smooth transition between scenes and projects.
Qualifications:
– Proven experience as a Set Decorator, Set Dresser, or in a similar role within the film or television industry.
– Strong artistic sense and attention to detail, with an understanding of color, texture, and style.
– Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment and take direction from the Art Director and Production Designer.
– Excellent organizational skills and the ability to effectively manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
– Familiarity with sourcing and procuring decorative items is a plus.
– A portfolio showcasing previous work in set decoration is highly desirable.
