Job Description:
Never Enough Productions seeks a talented and creative Scenic Artist / Painter to join our dynamic team for an upcoming TV show. As a Scenic Artist, you will play a crucial role in designing and treating all set surfaces to bring our scenes to life.
Key Responsibilities:
– Design and execute paint schemes and treatments for various set surfaces, ensuring a cohesive and visually appealing aesthetic.
– Apply painting, plastering, coloring, and texturing techniques to create realistic effects.
– Simulate materials like stone, wood, lettering, metallic finishes, and brick to enhance the authenticity of the sets.
– Collaborate closely with the production design team to understand each scene’s creative vision and requirements.
– Maintain high standards of quality and detail in all work produced meeting project deadlines.
– Assist in preparing and organizing materials and tools needed for painting projects.
– Stay informed about industry trends and techniques to improve skill set and work efficiency continuously.
Qualifications:
– Proven experience as a scenic artist or painter in film, television, theater, or a related field.
– Strong artistic skills with a keen eye for detail and color.
– Proficiency in various painting techniques and tools.
– Ability to interpret artistic direction and translate it into set designs.
– Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
– Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, to meet production schedules.
