Job Description: Pyro Technician / Explosives

Never Enough Productions Film Studio seeks a skilled and certified Pyro Technician to join our team for multiple exciting projects in Atlanta, GA, and Los Angeles, CA. As a Pyro Technician, also known as an armorer, you will safely handle, maintain, and care for all firearms, weapons, and pyrotechnics used during filming. This role involves working with live-action explosives and battle scene pyro effects, ensuring that all safety protocols are strictly followed.
Key Responsibilities:
– Safely handle and maintain all pyrotechnic devices and firearms during production.
– Collaborate with the production team to design and execute complex pyro effects for various scenes.
– Conduct safety briefings and ensure compliance with industry regulations regarding using explosives.
– Inspect, test, and maintain pyrotechnic equipment to guarantee functionality and safety.
– Provide training and supervision to crew members on safely using pyrotechnics on set.
Qualifications:
– Certification as a Pyro Technician or equivalent experience in special effects.
– Strong knowledge of safety regulations and best practices related to explosives and firearms.
– Previous experience working on film or television productions is preferred.
– Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
