Job Description:
Never Enough Productions seeks a talented and detail-oriented Prop Master to join our creative team. The Prop Master is responsible for acquiring, organizing, maintaining, and accounting for all props required for our productions. This role is vital in ensuring that every set is fully equipped with the appropriate items that contribute to the story’s authenticity and visual storytelling.

Key Responsibilities:
– Prop Acquisition: Source, purchase, or create all necessary props based on the production’s requirements and the director’s vision.
– Organization: Maintain an organized inventory of all props, ensuring they are easily accessible during rehearsals and shoots.
– Maintenance: Inspect and repair props as needed to ensure they remain in good condition throughout production.
– Logistics: Manage the transportation of props to and from set locations, ensuring timely delivery for filming schedules.
– Collaboration: Work closely with the director, set designers, and other departments to understand the prop needs and how they fit into the production design.
– Accounts Management: Keep detailed records of all props, including their status, condition, and associated costs, ensuring accurate tracking for budget purposes.

Qualifications:
– Previous experience as a Prop Master or in a similar role within film, television, or theater production.
– Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
– Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
– Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
– Creative problem-solving skills, with a knack for sourcing or creating unique props.
– A passion for storytelling and a keen understanding of how props contribute to the overall narrative.

Preferred Skills:
– Familiarity with prop fabrication techniques and materials.
– Experience with inventory management systems.
– Knowledge of health and safety regulations related to prop handling, especially for items like weapons or hazardous materials.
