The Location Manager will secure all legal permits and clearances required for filming at various locations. This role is crucial in ensuring all filming activities comply with local regulations and industry standards.
Key Responsibilities:
– Acquire and manage all legal permits and clearances for filming in specified locations.
– Process and oversee location permit fees and related expenses.
– Collaborate with production teams to ensure locations meet filming requirements.
– For smaller shoots, assist in coordinating vehicle parking and logistics.
– Establish and maintain positive relationships with location owners and local authorities.
Requirements:
– Proven experience as a Location Manager or in a similar role within the film or entertainment industry.
– Strong knowledge of local laws and regulations regarding filming permits.
– Excellent organizational and communication skills.
– Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
– A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
