Job Description: Key Grip

Never Enough Productions seeks a skilled and dedicated Key Grip to join our film production team in Atlanta, Georgia. As the lead grip on set, the Key Grip will oversee the grip department and collaborate closely with the best boy, gaffer, and director of photography (D.P.) to ensure the successful execution of each shot.
Responsibilities:
– Lead the grip team on set, providing direction and support to all grip personnel.
– Collaborate with the best boy, gaffer, and D.P. to develop strategies for effectively capturing shots as planned.
– Oversee the proper rigging and setup of camera supports and dollies.
– Manage light blocking, diffusion techniques, and other lighting needs to enhance the visual storytelling process.
– Maintain a safe working environment and ensure all equipment is used correctly and responsibly.
– Troubleshoot problems related to rigging and lighting on set efficiently and effectively.
Qualifications:
– Proven experience as a Key Grip or in a similar role within the film or television industry.
– Strong knowledge of camera support systems, lighting techniques, and set safety protocols.
– Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
– A strong portfolio that showcases previous work and relevant experience.
