Job Description: Jib Arm / Crane Camera Operator

Never Enough Productions seeks a skilled and dynamic Jib Arm / Crane Camera Operator to join our creative team. In this role, you will be responsible for setting up and operating our mechanical camera crane, commonly referred to as the “jib arm.” Your expertise will be crucial in capturing stunning large establishing shots that require significant elevation and fluid motion.
Key Responsibilities:
– Set up, operate, and maintain the jib arm and associated camera equipment.
– Collaborate with the director and cinematographer to achieve the desired shots and artistic vision.
– Ensure smooth and controlled movement of the jib arm during filming to create visually captivating footage.
– Conduct pre-production planning to assess shooting locations and gather necessary equipment.
– Troubleshoot and resolve any technical issues that may arise during shooting.
– Maintain a safe working environment on set for yourself and the crew.
Qualifications:
– Proven experience as a camera operator, specifically with mechanical cranes or jib arms.
– Strong understanding of camera techniques, shot composition, and cinematographic principles.
– Familiarity with various camera systems and equipment.
– Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
– Ability to work in fast-paced environments and adapt to changing production needs.
