At Never Enough Productions, we seek talented and dedicated Grips to join our team for upcoming feature films and TV projects in Atlanta, GA. Grips play a crucial role in shaping the quality of light on set, working closely with electricians to enhance the visual storytelling of our productions.
Responsibilities:
– Collaborate with the gaffer and electricians to manipulate and enhance lighting by creating patterns and shadows, coloring, diffusing, and blocking light.
– Set up and maintain various grip equipment to support lighting setups and achieve desired visual effects.
– Implement special rigging and securing measures to ensure the safety and efficiency of all lighting and grip operations on set.
– Assist in preparing and breaking set equipment and maintaining an organized and safe work environment.
– Adapt to dynamic shooting conditions and be proactive in problem-solving to meet the production team’s creative vision.
Qualifications:
– Previous experience as a grip or in a related role in film or television production is preferred.
– Strong knowledge of lighting techniques and grip equipment.
– Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
– Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
– Strong communication skills and ability to follow directions precisely.
