Position Overview:
We seek a talented and creative Food Stylist to join our team in Atlanta, GA. The Stylist will prepare and arrange food visually appealingly for use in photographs, commercials, and films. The ideal candidate will possess an extensive cooking and recipe development background and a flair for creative solutions that enhance food presentation.
Key Responsibilities:
– Prepare and style food for various visual media, ensuring that it meets the specific needs of each project.
– Collaborate with directors, photographers, and production teams to understand the desired aesthetics and concepts.
– Develop recipes and modify food items to improve visual appeal while maintaining taste.
– Implement techniques to enhance the visual qualities of food, including color, texture, and plating.
– Maintain a well-organized workspace and ensure that all food used for styling meets health and safety regulations.
Qualifications:
– Proven experience as a Food Stylist or in a similar role within the food industry.
– Strong background in cooking and recipe development.
– Excellent attention to detail and a creative eye for design and aesthetics.
– Strong communication and collaborative skills.
– Ability to work efficiently under pressure and meet deadlines.
