Never Enough Productions seeks a talented and creative Costume Designer to join our Atlanta, GA, team for multiple upcoming projects. As a key member of our production team, the Costume Designer will make critical decisions regarding the costumes and wardrobes worn by our actors, ensuring that they align with script requirements and character portrayals.
Key Responsibilities:
– Collaborate with the director and production team to understand the vision for each project and how costumes contribute to storytelling.
– Create or select clothing patterns, designs, colors, sizes, and accessories that reflect the characters and their narratives.
– Oversee the fitting processes, ensuring costumes are tailored for comfort and performance.
– Source, organize, and manage all costumes, including coordinating with assistants on larger productions to maintain an efficient wardrobe department.
– Stay updated on current fashion trends and historical attire when necessary to enhance authenticity in costume designs.
Qualifications:
– Proven experience as a film, theater, or television costume designer.
– Strong portfolio showcasing design skills and previous work.
– Excellent organizational and communication skills.
– Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
– A creative mindset with a passion for storytelling through costume design.
