Job Description:
Never Enough Productions seeks a skilled and dedicated Camera Assistant (1st AC) to join our dynamic Atlanta, GA Film Studios team. As the chief assistant to the camera operator, the 1st AC plays a crucial role in the filmmaking process, ensuring that visual storytelling is executed with precision and creativity.
Key Responsibilities:
– Measure and pull focus during filming to ensure sharp images and correct framing.
– Thread film through the camera when a new magazine is loaded and troubleshoot any related issues.
– Assist in the setup and assembly of camera equipment, including lenses and accessories.
– Maintain and clean the camera and lenses to ensure optimal performance and quality.
– Collaborate closely with the camera operator and other team members to facilitate smooth shooting days.
– Contribute to a safe and organized work environment on set.
Qualifications:
– Previous experience as a Camera Assistant or in a similar role is preferred.
– Solid understanding of camera systems and film production techniques.
– Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
– Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team.
– Flexibility to adapt to changing environments and work hours.
