Never Enough Productions seeks a dedicated and detail-oriented Camera Assistant (2nd AC) to join our vibrant team at our Atlanta film studio. The 2nd AC, often called the loader, plays a crucial role in filmmaking. This position is ideal for someone passionate about the craft and eager to contribute to the magic of our productions.
Key Responsibilities:
– Load and unload new rolls of film into various magazines with precision.
– Maintain and complete all camera reports for the film lab to ensure accurate tracking and record-keeping.
– Operate the slate or clapper to facilitate sync and proper labeling for each shot, ensuring a smooth filming process.
– Assist the camera department in various tasks to ensure successful production days.
Qualifications:
– Previous experience as a Camera Assistant or in a related role is preferred.
– Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
– Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
– A basic understanding of camera systems and film equipment is a plus.
