Job Description:
Never Enough Productions is seeking a talented and passionate Art Director to join our creative team. The Art Director will work closely with the Production Designer to conceptualize, design, and construct movie sets that effectively convey the story’s vision. This role is crucial in crafting the overall aesthetic and atmosphere of our films.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the Production Designer to develop the visual concept for movie sets.
- Assist in the creation of detailed sketches, mood boards, and design plans.
- Supervise and coordinate the construction and decoration of sets, ensuring they align with the approved designs.
- Work with various departments, including props, lighting, and costumes, to maintain a cohesive look throughout the production.
- Manage budgetary constraints while achieving high-quality results.
- Participate in location scouting and provide insights on how to enhance spaces for filming.
- Ensure that all set designs comply with safety regulations and production schedules.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and techniques to bring innovative ideas to the team.
Qualifications:
- A bachelor’s degree in fine arts, design, film production, or a related field is preferred.
- Proven experience as an Art Director or in a similar role within film or theater production.
- Strong portfolio showcasing design and set construction work.
- Proficient in graphic design software and 3D modeling programs.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work within tight deadlines.
